GazeLab was created with the objective of providing a diagnostic tool to improve the exploration of ocular motility, increasing

efciency in strabismus surgery. The device incorporates state of the art technology in computer vision, adapted for the analysis of external ocular images. The system records and analyzes the movements of the eyes (or ocular prosthesis when required), and contrasts it with the test pattern dened by the specialist. The result of the analysis is a map of ocular motility which indicates the position of the eyes in each of the points of pattern explored, using vectorial metrics. Myriad of eye positions can be explored, as many as the ophthalmologist deems necessary.

ADVANTAGES: Efciency - improves surgery success rate and post-sugery monitoring Accuracy - improved diagnostic measurement Pre-programmable - with scan patterns dened by the specialist Easy to use - provides the possibility to delegate the scanning tasks to physician assistants Versatile - allows the implementation of other functionalities related to ocular motility measurement.
