    1 Self Awareness Mural/Collage

    Objective: To create a visual representation of yourself that will be shared with the class Assignment: On a large piece of poster paper create a mural or collage which tells about who you are, what your interests are, and what is important to you. 1. Choose one object which represents you and use this as the outline for your collage. For example, Terry Fox could have chosen a running shoe since running was very important to him and is how he is remembered. 2. Inside the object include the following a. A photo or picture of you b. A picture of what you hope to do career wise in the future c. A picture of your favourite childhood memory d. A quote from someone which represents what you believe e. Lyrics (school appropriate) from your favourite song f. A picture of your favourite place on the planet g. A picture of your favourite activity h. Four words that describe your personality

    This is an individual assignment. You will be given 3 40 minute periods to complete it. Evaluation see rubric on next page
