Purpose
The Anchor Fund has been established at the Good Samaritan Society - Moscow to help residents of the Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in case of financial emergencies. Assistance Programs such as Medicaid cover many expenses associated with living in a rehabilitative and skilled care center, but do not cover many personal needs. This fund was created to address unexpected expenses that residents may encounter while living at Moscow Village. These needs range from new dentures, hearing aids and glasses, to transportation charges to health care providers out of the Moscow/Pullman area. I want to share in helping the residents of the Good Samaritan Society, Moscow through the Anchor Fund

How the Fund Operates

Gifts and bequests designated for the Anchor Fund are placed in a separate resource development account. The leadership team of Moscow Village serves as a gifting committee to evaluate the needs of the residents and allocate the funds available to meet these needs. Payment is made directly, for the convenience of both the resident and their care provider or supplier.
