chapter 2 Eric

He was dribbling the ball past the court. "Pass the ball, Eric." Eric sharply tw isted his head towards Jason, his best friend. Eric blasted the ball into the ai r towards him. It was a one-two pass. Eric was at the age of fifteen. He was very sporty, strong, and muscled. Hi s six packs were showing, like a brick wall. He was, in no doubt, the sporty typ e. His dreamy eyes were a deep shade of brown and his wavy black hair were swayi ng along with the wind. With only fifteen seconds left, Eric received the ball from Jason, once agai n. His arms and thighs were preparing for a slam dunk. A sudden surge of energy shot through his spinal-cord as he pranced for the shot. One of which he has ne ver felt before. It all happened so fast. As Eric was about to dunk the winning shot, like lig htning, the surge reached his fingertips. He felt his muscles twitching, full of energy. His hand forced the ball on the basket, scoring the point. The crowd gasped. The basket shattered and Eric was sent plunging into the gr ound, unconscious. Eric was experiencing something weird. There was a huge energy source in his b ody, and it was growing, fast. He felt so powerful. Eric was the star of his basketball team, the infernos. His coach, Coach Cramp a lways told him "You have a gift, a responsibility." Eric never failed to amaze the crowd. Whether He was running, swimming, playin g, everyone would watch in gaping mouths. His instincts led him to one thing, gl ory. He was taken to the locker room. Everyone looked at him with eyes, filled wit h worry. Jason was by his side, full of terror. He must've seen him opening his eye, because he announced "Our star is awake!" followed by a cheer. Everyone was so relieved. Eric looked at all the face that looked at him with high and content spirits. Three of him looked at him with disappointment. His Mo m, Dad, and the coach, were all troubled because of that stunt. He didn't care n ow, he won the championship.
