BROADCASTING SOLUTION INTERNATIONAL INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BSIIMS) INTRODUCTION Broadcasting Solution International (BSI) is a telecommunication private owned Company. It is situated in Nairobi and its headquarters is located at Milimani. The company has operated for seven years now. As a telecommunication company, it orders, installs and maintains radio and TV transmission equipment across the country both in radio, studios and radio frequency (RF) handling sites. The companys employees and area of jurisdiction is increasing rapidly. Several radio and TV stations are coming up and also the technology advancement being felt across the nation, there is need to quit the paperwork system and develop a computerized system for the companys operations in order to stay at top prior to its competitors. In this regard, I intend to develop a computerized system to cater for employees, property and the radio/TV stations (clients). It will be a standalone system. METHODOLOGY The development approach will be the waterfall model and data collection methods will be the questionnaires, interviews and published documents. TOOLS The programming tool (front-end) will be VB.NET and the database (back-end) will be MySQL. The system will be developed on windows platform for optimal performance.
