THE DAWN OF THE NET

From the word The Dawn of the Net implies dawn significantly the beginning of a new era in which computers have a great source of information to feed the researchers through the World Wide Web. The main warriors the TCP Packet, ICMP Ping Packet, UDP Packet, The Router, Ping of Death, and The Router Switch together with Firewall and Proxy. Each main character has its very own special usage. Considering to a never ending process of giving the right information. Its main goal is to deliver information the user requested for. Dawn of the Net, as shown in the internet speaks more of the flow or how the information travels in the internet. It speaks about the steps and function of every device. The packets are then labelled and addressed. From there it goes to the LAN and then the proxy. All these jobs are performed by the routers and router switches. Next the packets are received by the firewall, which only lets good information in and keeps sensitive information from getting out. The package is now ready to travel the World Wide Web. Routers and switches determine the path it will take and can vary greatly. Now that we have travelled the net we are arriving once again at a firewall. The information feed in the internet is being determined where the good and sensitive information goes to. At the firewall it determine whether pass a certain criteria, which must be met. If it meets all requirements it then goes to the interface and from there the web server. One at a time they are received, unpacked and sent to their application. The packet itself is recycled and sent to start the whole process again.
