I define assessment as the evaluation of the overall knowledge and understanding that a student has from the acquired

information given. In order to fully assess this I plan on giving you a topic question that contains multiple angles on monthly tests. You must respond in an essay format, explaining out your point/points. The grading will be done based off of the content, and not spelling or grammar. While at the same time I must be able to understand what you are talking about. The grade will be on a 1-10 scale, 10 being the lowest grade possible. This is because I like to look at it as a placement or ranking. 910= you dont have a clue, 7-8= you know something, 5-6= your kind of got it but not really, 3-4 you know most of the material and understand it, 1-2= you know and understand everything or almost everything, and can explain it thoroughly. A 4 is passing. Make-ups are based on reason.
