Architecture Highlights
Enterprise Architecture: Flex Services Platform (FSP) is based on a J2EE Tomcat server instance running in a secure zone of your choosing. Its purpose is to service mobile device requests and get the services executed using a connection to the Oracle Agile instance. Scalable: Approve can be scaled for high availability using a load balancing environment Security: All device communication uses 128 bit SSL to connect with the FSP. Authentication requires the Agile user and password credentials, and an IMEI be registered with FSP. This ensures no unauthorized mobile devices can connect. Centralized Management: The FSP can be administered for user access and security via a web interface with no changes to the Agile environment. The admin may also be configured to be started from inside Agile via a process extension, according to preference. Admin UI allows setup of basic user information and the list of attributes of each approvable object to be displayed on the mobile device FSP Admin is required to set up user access. FSP Admin not required to enter anything for routable object viewable attributes since the default attributes will appear on the mobile device.
User Settings Authorized users list Mobile device IMEI / UDID Attachment viewing privilege Oracle Agile URL Allowed device IMEI IDs or Apple UDID ECO ECR MCO SCO Deviations Stop Ships View any object through search
