IIF-ACES Viewing Transforms

Sony IDCT for F35 or SRW 9000PL:

Color calibration to match optimized specifications for F35 and SRW 9000PL digital motion picture cameras.

Look Modification Transform(s) (LMT):

Resulting initially from DP Look references of scenes using ASC CDL+ IDT+ RRT/ODT. Applied after initial monitor set-up (Rec. 709; P3 or wider gamut). Also, colorist created LMT during color grading for DI or dailies.

IIF-ACES Input Device Transform (IDT):

The IDT linearizes the S-Log camera data using a 1D LUT. The S-Gamut RGB data is converted to ACES RGB using a 3x3 matrix. Both can be incorporated in a 3D LUT.

Reference Rendering Transform (RRT) and Output Device Transform (ODT)

The Reference Rendering Transform (RRT) is the IIF standard viewing transform that maps scene referred ACES images to OCES. OCES images are converted to monitor code values using an ODT. ODTs can be generated for any output device. In this case the ODT for a Rec.709 monitor was used.
