Re: Archive Image Requirements


Every year the Department of Graphic Design requests samples of student work as a requirement for graduation. This work becomes part of the Department Archive. In addition to being part of the permanent record, the images may be used for RISD promotional materials such as website, catalog, department publications and presentations, and future RISD and graphic design historians

As part of your graduation requirement, The following MUST be submitted by Friday, May 25:
Instructions will be forthcoming for uploading these submissions to dropbox as well as instructions for uploading your degree project to the department degree project site. What to include: You may submit one multipage PDF or individual items in a folder clearly labeled with your full name, including the following. 1. Images of work. 20 images totalapproximately five degree project, and fifteen from other courses. Please include Sophomore and Junior work if you have strong examples. For print work, Files should be in PDF, TIFF, or JPEG format with fonts embedded or converted to paths for accurate reproduction. Resolution should be approx. 300 dpi at full size. Include interactive or motion pieces as QuickTime Movies. Label each file clearly with your full name as you would like it to appear on a credit. Example: NancySkolos_1.jpg 2. PDF of CV 3. PDF of Degree Project Brief 4. PDF index of all 20 works with captions for each project.
