SPACE SEGMENT
Consists of atleast 24 satellites (21 active + 3 active spares) is the heart of the system. The satellites are arranged in their orbits so a GPS receiver on earth can always receive from atleast four of them at any given time.

CONTROL SEGMENT
Controls the GPS satellites by tracking them & providing them with corrected orbital & clock information. Including 4 monitor stations & 1 master control station.

MONITOR STATIONS
Constantly receive data from the satellites & then send that information to master control station.
