I have been Erica Pang's supervisor for two reading practicums and professor for both Reading Methods and Classroom Management from January through June of 2011. Through working with her in class and observing her teaching, I have had the opportunity to get to know her as a student and teacher. As a result of these experiences, it is with confidence that I recommend Erica for a teaching position at your school.
Erica was an excellent student in both classes in which she was a student of mine. I saw Erica develop as a thoughtful and reflexive student and teacher throughout her work in both classes. It was clear that Erica sees her role as a teacher as directly influencing the learning of her students, and I was impressed with her quality of work and work ethic throughout the term. I am confident that she will be an incredibly successful teacher in her own classroom. Throughout my observations of Erica's teaching, I discovered her ability to successfully work with, teach, and build rapport with her students. As I observed Erica over two terms, she developed her o'teacher voice" and ability to actively engage students. I was impressed with Erica's ability to listen to constructive criticism and apply suggestions immediately. From planning to implementation, Erica's lessons became ones that rivaled veteran teachers'. Erica's ability to manage a classroom and engage students in the content through a variety of learning experiences allowed all students to learn in meaningful ways.

In summation, Erica's skill in teaching and engaging with children is impressive. She is a highly capable teacher. I fully believe she would be a valuable asset to your school; therefore, I endorse Erica Pang's application enthusiastically and without reservation.
