VALID IN THE DAVAO REGION - THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO ALL EVERYONE IN AND FROM THE DAVAO REGION BE IT IN DAVAO DEL SUR, DAVAO ORIENTAL, COMPOSTELA VALLEY, DAVAO DEL NORTE OR METRO DAVAO. ENTRY OF THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFICIAL RULES. The Top 100 Faces of Davao 2012 (the "contest) is designed to showcase Davaos finest. Davao is simply one of the most beautiful region in the archipelago. Thus, it is only fair we hail together with the best sights, the best faces. The contest is no way related to or endorsed by the Government of Davao, a company or a business. It is not affiliated or endorsed in any manner. The people (the voting public) will vote through the 5-star rating system and Facebook likes. The contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, nor is Facebook associated with the contest in any way. Prizes will be awarded in accordance with these Official Rules. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Official Rules prevail.

OFFICIAL RULES & AGREEMENT

I - BINDING AGREEMENT. In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to the Rules. Therefore, please read these Rules prior to nominate and joining the contest to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of your nomination or yourself as an entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to these Rules. You may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive the prizes described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding an agreement between you and Davao Eagle Online (www.davaoeagle.com) with respect to the Contest.

II - ELIGIBILITY. To be eligible to enter the Contest, a Nominee must be : (a) a Davao citizen or permanent Davao resident (Davao Del Sur, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, Davao del Norte or Metro Davao); (b) be enrolled in a secondary schools or colleges or a universities in the Davao region; (c) have voluntary submission to join the contest and /or (d) working in Davao. Members, administrators, partners and sponsors of Davao Eagle Online and the search are ineligible to participate in this Contest. Those with existing modeling contracts that include exclusivity clauses may not join the search. Nominees simply have to like Davao Eagle Online's FanPage at www.fb.com/davaoeagleonline III- ORGANIZER. The Contest is created by Davao Eagle Online "Your Access to Davao Online" (www.davaoeagle.com), a blogsite that gives you the highlights of the entire Davao Region. A virtual hub for one of the countrys finest district; a cyber-vision of the latest and the best of what Davao has to offer. DavaoEagle is not just an ocean of words and photographs. It is a painting of what Davao Region is and will be. IV - CONTEST PERIOD. The search for Top 100 Faces of Davao has fourlevels: a.Nomination Period The Nomination Period is the first level of the selection process. The official page of Davao Eagle and DE Online Fanpage will be available for accepting nominations. Qualifiers shall be determined via Facebook profile and must be recognizable by other FB users. A screening team shall be deemed nominees and whichever qualifies for the Voting Period. Nominees will be added and be notified by our Facebook Online Support Profile Team http://www.facebook.com/davaoeagleonlinesupport. He/she may request to change the uploaded photo or withdraw from participation. The profiles and photos of the finalists will be uploaded on the Davao Eagle's Face page on www.faces.davaoeagle.com for online voting. Finals After the Nomination period and Voting Period for 10 months, top 12 Faces for each month and 4 wild cards will compete each other. 100 Faces will be ranked base on accumulated votes. Photos will be uploaded on the site (faces.davaoeagle.com). Davao Eagle Online is not responsible for photos sent by the nominee. Photographers have the right to be credited or be informed about the usage of their materials. Entries nominated without permission from nominees to join the contest will be disqualified. VI- JUDGING. Top 100 Faces of Davao 2012 is a popularity contest. The nominees with the highest accumulated scores from the 5-star rating system and Facebook likes will be the basis of the ranking. Each nominee will be scored on the following criteria and calculation. Criteria: q.5-star votes 25% r.5-star rating 25% s.Facebook likes 50% t.Total 100% Calculation per criteria : u.5-star votes votes / highest number of votes x 0.25 v.5-star rating rating / 5 x 0.25 w.Facebook likes likes / highest number of likes x 0.50 x.Total 100% Tie-breaker: In the event of a tie at any level of voting, Davao Eagle Online will reevaluate the tied contestants according to the Criteria until the tie is broken. The tied contestants will be put up for a re-vote amongst the voting public at the respective level until the tie is broken. Decisions of the voting public are final and binding. If a potential winner is unable for whatever reason to accept his or her prize, then Davao Eagle Online reserves the right to award the prize to another contestant. VII - UPLOADING AND VOTING. The photos and profiles of the qualifiers will be uploaded on the Davao Eagle event page on www.faces.davaoeagle.com. The page should be ready to accept votes upon Voting Period. A vote tally will

also appear next to the candidate. The vote tally is automatically updated after a vote is cast. VIII - NOTIFICATION OF NOMINEES AND WINNERS. Becoming a nominee is subject to validation and verification of eligibility and compliance with all the terms and conditions set forth in these Rules. If a potential nominee disqualified for any reason, the contestant that received the next highest total score will be chosen as the winner. The potential nominee(s) will be selected and notified by Facebook message. If a potential nominee or finalist does not respond to the notification attempt within three (3) days from the first notification attempt, then such potential finalist/winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential finalist/winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received based on the judging Criteria described herein. IX - PRIZES: SUBJECT FOR ADDITIONS. Top 1, 2 and 3 will win a free massage, facial spa and diamond peel embrasion gift certificates from Pacific Spa; an overnight stay and free breakfast meal for 2 at La Vida Orchard Resort in the Island Garden City of Samal and a free hair treatment at Sheila Magpale Salon. Top 1 and 2 will also receive customized jewelry from Impressions. The Top 100 Faces of Davao 2012 will be displayed on the www.davaoeagle.com and Friendly.Ph home page and will be aired on Wild 92.3 FM WT. The twelve (12) Circle of 12 Faces Finalists will be granted a free workshop and photoshoot by JonSum Photographia, Bobcat Photography and Sorronda Photography. The Top 100 Faces of Davao 2012 will each receive a Davao Eagle Online certificate and a chance to be part of the AAAAA Productions. X - ACTIVITIES. Here's the list of activities of Top 100 Faces of Davao 2012 monthly circle finalists: a. Radio Interview with DJ Hope of Wild FM 92.3 WT b. Photoshoot with JonSum Photographia, Sorronda Photography and Bobcat Photography. Venue: Tourist spots in Davao c. Charity drive. XI - GENERAL CONDITIONS. All regulations apply. Davao Eagle Online reserves the right to disqualify any Nominee from the Contest if, in Davao Eagle Onlines sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the Nominee has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other nominees, Davao Eagle, or the voting public. XII - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS. As between Davao Eagle Online and the Nominee, the Nominee retains ownership of all intellectual and industrial property rights (including moral rights) in and to the Basic

Information and Photo. As a condition of entry, Nominee grants Davao Eagle Online a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free, and nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, distribute, publicly perform, create a derivative work from, and publicly display his/her information and the photo for any purpose, including display on the Top 100 Faces of Davao, Friendly.Ph and Davao Eagle websites. XIII - PUBLICITY. By entering the Contest, Nominees agree to participate in any media or promotional activity resulting from the Contest as reasonably requested by Davao Eagle expense and agree and consent to use of their name and/or likeness by Davao Eagle Online. Davao Eagle Online will contact Nominees in advance of any Davao Eagle Online-sponsored media request for interviews. The Photos may also be used for press and media purposes and Entrant agrees to waive any rights and not assert any intellectual property rights that Nominee has or may have in the Photo. Davao Eagle Online reserves the right to publish the name and likeness of the Nominees on the Contest Site or through other media for publicity purposes. XVI - ELIMINATION. Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by Nominees concerning identity, photo, ownership of right or noncompliance with these Rules or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the nominee from the Contest. XV - INTERNET AND DISCLAIMER. Davao Eagle Online is not responsible for any malfunction of the entire Contest Site or any late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable, or destroyed Photos or votes due to system errors, failed, incomplete or garbled computer which may limit Nominees/Public ability to participate/vote respectively. Davao Eagle Online is not responsible for the policies, actions, or inactions of others, which might prevent Nominee from entering, participating, and/or claiming a prize in this Contest. Sponsors failure to enforce any term of these Rules will not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify Nominees who violate the rules or interfere with this Contest in any manner. If a Nominee is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that Nominees eligibility to participate in the Contest. XVI - INTERPRETATION. In the case of any dispute about the interpretation of the Rules, Davao Eagle Onlines decision as to the interpretation shall be final and Nominee shall be bound by Davao Eagle Onlines decision. XVII - CONSIDERATION. The Nominee agrees that the ability to participate in the Contest and to compete for the prizes offered in connection with the Contest constitute, where required, sufficient consideration for the Nominees obligations under these Official Rules.
