What scholarships are available? Charles Darwin University scholarships are grouped into three main categories: Scholarships for entry level students. Available to new students who are applying or admission into CDU to start study in 2011. Scholarships for enrolled students. Available to new and continuing students enrolled or intending to enrol in a course with CDU in 2011. CDU Support and Equity Services Scholarships. Available to new and continuing undergraduate students enrolled or intending to enrol in 2011 and who can show fnancial disadvantage.
How do I apply or a scholarship? 1. Go to W: www.cdu.edu.au/scholarships. 2. Download the in ormation sheets or the scholarships you would like to apply or and check that you meet the eligibility criteria. 3. Download the relevant application orm and guidelines. 4. Complete your application, including all certifed supporting documentation that is required and submit to the Scholarships O fcer, In ormation Centre, Charles Darwin University NT 0909 or E: scholarships@cdu.edu.au no later than the application closing date.
Full details o the scholarships and their individual eligibility criteria can be ound at W: www.cdu.edu.au/scholarships.
When is my application due? All applications must be submitted be ore the specifed closing dates. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
How are scholarships awarded? Each scholarship has its own eligibility criteria. Applicants must address the criteria in their application and provide any supporting documentation requested on the application orm. The applicant who best meets this eligibility criteria and who is approved by the Scholarship Selection Committee is o ered the scholarship(s). Eligibility requirements may include; academic merit, Grade Point Average (GPA) or Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), equity criteria (nancial hardship, sole parent/carer, medical condition/ disability, Indigenous, etc), location (rural or isolated), personal attributes, per ormance at interview or a combination o these criteria.
How do I know i my application has been received? When you submit a scholarship application you will receive an email o acknowledgement. I you do not receive a confrmation within two weeks o the date that you submitted your application, please contact the Scholarships O fcer.
Can I have more than one scholarship? In some instances students may be awarded more than one scholarship. This will depend on the eligibility criteria o the scholarships you are applying or. Y are ou advised to apply or all scholarships or which you are eligible. In the event that you are o ered more than one scholarship, and one states that you may not be in receipt o another scholarship, you will then need to decide which scholarship to accept.
