Gestamp Wind starts the commercial operation of 40 MW in Brazil

(Madrid, May 7, 2012) Gestamp Wind, the wind energy division of Gestamp Renewables ( Corporacion Gestamp) has started the commercial operation of the wind farms Cabeo Preto I and Cabeo Preto IV, in Rio Grande Norte, Brazil. Both wind farms have a capacity of 20 Mw, summing a total of 40 Mw. Each wind farm is composed by 11 turbines of 1.8 Mw each. The total investment was of over 70 million Euros and the expected annual revenues are of 30 million Euros.
