Dom Mo for IT & Comms

Hi there. My name is Dominic Moylett, though those of you who recognise me probably know me better as Dom Mo. Im a first year Computer Scientist. I have been a regular member of the LGBT Society since October last year. Joining the society has lead to some of my fondest memories of this year and has introduced me to some amazing people. I would love to be part of the process behind the society, hence why Im running for IT and Communications Rep.

I already have experience as part of a University committee. Since November 2011 I have been working as the Goldney Hall JCR Technical Officer, which has given me experience working in a team, helping run various events and also communicating with the University IT Services. As a Computer Scientist, I have knowledge in designing and maintaining websites. I am a very dedicated individual. As well as my time on the JCR, I have been a bass guitarist for one year, a drummer for six years and a circus performer for eight years!

If elected, I promise to:

Drop the s from IT & Comms so that it rhymes with my name. Ensure regular delivery of the newsletter and calendar each month. Maintain the society website during the redesigning of the Union website. Produce a new handbook in time for the 2012 Freshers Fair. Keep people reminded of events through the society Twitter account. The past year has been a brilliant experience for me and I hope to help make the next one even better for the society.
