EXAMPLE PARAGRAPH
What causes cancer? No one knows for sure, but most doctors and scientists believe there are different causes for the different forms of the diseases. Working conditions may lead to cancer. For example, people who work in close contact with chemical compounds like arsenic, asbestos may develop cancer. People who work for a long period of time with X-ray, or radio-active material may get leukemia or cancer of the skin, bone or lungs. Smoking is another cause of cancer. Many experiments have shown that smoking can produce lung cancer as well as cancer of the mouth , larynx, esophagus, pancreas, and urinary bladder. Finally, viruses may cause cancer. Scientists are now trying to find out if this is true for humans as well. Although we dont have the answer yet, perhaps in the near future we will know what causes this disease.
