    Errol Bome

    Role: Industry Experience: Years with Company: Senior Portfolio Manager 29 Years 23 Years

    Errol is the head of Duration Strategies in the Macro Strategies Team. He is responsible for the active risk management of fixed income portfolios, setting interest rate strategies and managing client relationships.

    Errol joined Rothschild Australia, which later became a part of BT Financial Group, in 1988 and was responsible for establishing and operating a fixed income business for Rothschild's Treasury, managing treasury interest rate risk, including all options, swaps and futures. In 1996, he was appointed head of Fixed Interest.

    Previously, Errol worked as Director of Risk Management at Peter Wallman & Co. where he was responsible for interest rate management. He also worked as a Senior Manager of Fixed Interest at Liberty Life Association of Africa Limited where he was responsible for fixed interest portfolio management.

    Errol holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree and is an ACA and CA (SA).
