WILMINGTON HIGH SCHOOL 2012 Senior Events

SENIOR BANQUET Preparations are underway for the Senior Banquet which will take place on Tuesday, May 29th. The banquet will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria and will end at 10:00 p.m. There will be no charge for the tickets. SENIOR SIGN OUT All seniors must complete the senior sign-out form. It must be complete and returned to Mr. Tracy no later than 2:00 PM on May 25th. GRADUATION REHEARSALS Rehearsals for Graduation are scheduled for Thursday, May 31st and Friday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. in the Gym. It is imperative that ALL seniors who are planning to attend the Graduation ceremonies attend these rehearsals. Students will be purchasing their caps and gowns following these rehearsals. The cost of the cap and gown is $20.00 (checks made payable to NES). Students must present their sign-out form when purchasing the cap and gown. SENIOR BBQ The BBQ will take place immediately following the graduation rehearsal on May 31 st. It will take place behind WHS on the field. The BBQ is for WHS senior class members only. There is no fee for this event. JAMN 94.5 will be DJs at the BBQ! SCHOLARSHIP NIGHT Scholarship Night is scheduled for Friday, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the Gym. Attendance at Scholarship Night is by invitation. Invitations will specify directions for students as to the time of arrival and the mode of dress. GRADUATION 2012 Graduation 2012 is scheduled for Sunday, June 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Students will receive detailed instructions during the scheduled Graduation rehearsals. Graduation will take place on the football field, weather permitting. The number of tickets is unlimited if the ceremony is held outdoors. Otherwise, each student will receive four (4) tickets for access to the ceremony in the gymnasium. Unfortunately, only ticket holders will be able to enter the Gym because of seating limitations and fire codes.
