How to Activate your Microsoft Office 2010 build 4734 RTM copy by Win7Vista!!

This was tested by us and worked. Please follow exact all the steps as posted or it will not work! -First f you nload . (1) -of all, you HAVE to install MS Office 2010 public beta on your PC FIRST, I already installed this RTM version, uninstall it and install the beta (Dow it from your W7V FTP Server). Using tokens.dat from others will not work..

-- (2) -Activate the public beta ONLINE with the MAK key (search in the forums) or generate your own MAK here:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/ee390818.aspx (click on GET STARTED NOW at the bottom of the page and login with your live log in etc. account) -- (3) -Reboot -- (4) -If you haven't done this already, enable "Show hidden files, folders, or drives" under "Folder Options". Go to: Quote%PROGRAMFILES%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controll er\ and copy your "pkeyconfig.xrm-ms" to a safe place (e.g. to your Desktop). Then go here %PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\ and copy tokens.dat to a safe place (e.g. to your Desktop).

-- (5) -Uninstall your MS Office 2010 Beta. Reboot

-- (6) -Install the RTM Version. -- (7) -Copy "pkeyconfig.xrm-ms and tokens.dat from your Beta into the folder where you have the file activate.cmd. All 3 files must be in the same folder!!

-- (8 ) -Right click on activate.cmd and run it AS ADMINISTRATOR. This script will copy t he old files and replace the ones of RTM and perform all necessary tasks.

-- (9) -Open "cmd" as Administrator and type: cd "c:\Program files\Microsoft Office\Office14\" and then cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus If you see something like this you have succeded! http://i50.tinypic.com/9id3bs.jpg
