Political Surveillance Code

The Commonwealth of Rucesion reserves all rights to monitor the actions of Aislings 
while they are in office, in order to provide justice.

1.) Taken Office

All citizens who take office are to immediately post that they have done so on the 
Political Discourse board in the Commons, stating what office they have taken and 
which term. Failure to do so will result in an Evaluated Response Demerit.

2.) Office Charter

All citizens taking office must be recorded on the Judgement board in the [Official 
Records] post.
The demerits they accumulate and any political action they take will be summarized 
here. The post should be updated frequently by a Judge.

2.1) Office Records Investigation

Every moon, a Judge should examine the [Official Records] and determine who shall 
face punishment for Dereliction of Duty or Abandonment of Office.

2.2) Compliance

Failure of the responsible officials to satisfy their duty towards investigating the Code 
will result in an Evaluated Response Demerit.

3.) Treason

An official found abandoning office from Rucesion to migrate to another town without 
waiting for their term to end will be subjected to a 2 Deoch Exile and a 2 Deoch 
Barment.
Example: Aisling X takes office as Guard.
Aisling X becomes a Noes Citizen.
In the said example, the Guard will still have their title and throw skill, which makes 
the purpose of this law obvious.

4.) Preservation of Surveillance

Amendments to the Political Surveillance Code require 80% Support from the 
Legislature, removing the Political Surveillance Charter requires 100% support from 
the Legislature.
