Dog Waste used to light

up Cambridge Dog Park!
When a dog becomes
famous on Facebook

Dog poop is lighting a lantern at a Cambridge

dog park as part of a months long project that
its creator, artist Matthew Mazzotta, hopes will
get people thinking about not wasting waste.
The Park Spark poop converter is actually
two steel, 500-gallon oil tanks painted a golden
yellow, connected by diagonal black piping and
attached to an old gaslight-style street lantern at
the Pacific Street Park.

When fate beats love

48 year old Mara Steve of Laguna Niguel loses

her life when she tries to protect a stray dog
from being hit by a car. She was kneeling down
with the dog on the side of the road, when two
cars crashed, the crash caused one of the cars
to turn over which hit and killed the 48 year old
woman. The drivers of the vehicles came out
with some bruises and breaks while the dog
ran away.

When a dog becomes famous on Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg created a Facebook profile
for his new puppy, his name is Beast and he
already has 20,000 likes.. Beast is a type of
Hungarian Sheepdog known as a Puli. Puli,
in Hungarian, means brilliant public relations
strategy to soften your image. According to his
profile he is from Oregon and his interests are
hugs and cuddling.

Dog saves Dog

A hero dog saves his life... his neighbor, who is
yet another dog! Jessie the 2 year old, Am Staff
warned his owner when the neighbors 6 month
old Basset Hound, Molly, fell inot the homes
pool and was drowning.

The dog and the marine

Dogs who lose their life in war are not usually

sent home, this was not the case for Theo, the
2 year old springer spaniel. The British decided
to make an exception and Theos ashes were
flown home on the same plane as his master,
Liam who was killed by a Taliban bullet. The
pair, hailed for saving the lives of countless British soldiers in Afghanistan.
Theo was awarded a Dickin Medal ... the animal
equivalent of the Victoria Cross.

When the real culprits

are punished
For several months, dead cats were being found
in the streets of an area in Aridea. Vets in the
area discovered multiple cases of poisoning.
Finally the culprit was found and sentenced
to 4 months imprisonment and a fine of 300
euros. The judge stated that the animals were
protected by the law and the culprit was found
guilty. This should be a lesson to all that no life
can be taken without consequences.

purry cat truth
Sal a pet cat has been
summoned for jury
duty - and has been
told by courts he must
attend. Sals owners
included their pet cat
in their family when they
filled out the last census, so the nation called
upon the cat for jury duty! When the owners
asked for annulment they included as one of
their 10 reasons that Sal did not understand
English! However, their petition was denied.
They hope the problem will be solved at their
next meeting, otherwise the cat will be taking
a ride to the courts!

Cat saves Owners!

A cat saved her family from fire when she
scratched the face of her owner to wake her.
The fire broke out from a forgotten frying pan
in the kitchen of a home in England. The 15 year
old cat scratched her owner gently, waking her
and saving the family.

Guiness Book record

for Smokeys Purr
The loudest cat in the world is named
Smokey, and her purr can reach 92
decibel thats more than three times
louder than most cats. Even from 5 feet
away, her purr reaches 80 decibels,
which is the same as a noisy car passing by.
A normal cats purr reaches about 25
decibels. The sound this little purring
puss can reach, is a head pounding 92
decibels - exactly the same as a Boeing
737 airplane, coming into land.

Two-year-old male cat named as Kuzya has

made an unprecedented journey across the
Yakutia republic in Russias Siberia. The owners
took the pet to the city of Yakutsk, the capital
of Yakutia, in the beginning of summer. The cat
apparently did not like the new dusty and noisy
place of living and escaped. The Efremovs were
going to stay in the city just for a short while, but
the cat did not return when they had to leave
back to the village.
The cat appeared on the doorstep of the Efremovs house in Olenyok three months and 2,150
kilometeres later.

A small cat Bubu, has stolen the hearts of residents in Kampung Titian Hangus. The small cat
has extra nails on each paw! Bubu has 7 toes
on each of its front legs and 6 toes on each of
its hind legs. Multiple toes are seen but not very
frequently the abnormality does not need
medical attention nor
does it inhibit the life
of the cat.
