INSO, Robby Carl PABLO, Jirina Rizzie SATRAIN, Jose Noel Peer regulation The PMA Code of Ethics
Serves as a guideline for medical professionals. It presents the ideal nature of a physician.
It states the expected character and responsibility of a physician in practice. To understand the difference between right and wrong and to apply this understanding in their decision. Ethical Issues in Medical field:
A physician does not only concern himself of his own reputation. The whole medical society will also get a negative feedback once a physician has conducted himself contrary to the ethical values set by the Code. Being a physician, we should gain the trust of the public as it will be detrimental to our practice. And we will only achieve it if we have proven that we are dignified and has a good reputation. One dire move could affect the whole medical community. It may sound unjust but we carry in our title the character of a good physician and the reputation of the medical society depends on each of us.
