Arctic Row will conduct scientific research to inform scientists of the pace and extent of whale migration change in the Arctic - Professor Russell Hopcroft, U. Alaska Fairbanks, Institute of Marine Science Chair Arctic Row will collect twice-daily samples of plankton from a trowel deployed behind the boat and constant water temperature and salinity data from on-board equipment.
