The Company is also setting up an Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar, near Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh State. NMDC is now looking for suitable persons for the following posts to be deployed in Integrated Steel Plant, in its Iron Ore / Diamond Mines located in Bailadila, Chhattisgarh; Bellary, Karnataka; Panna, Madhya Pradesh etc.: I. Qualification & Experience: Sl.No.1. Mineral Processing : For the posts of Assistant Manager (E1) / Deputy Manager(E2): Degree in Mineral Processing Engineering preferably first class from a recognised Univerity / Institute of repute. Should have post qualification experience as stated at II below in the field of mineral beneficiation including gravity methods, magnetic separation, floatation and ore agglomeration in reputed pilot plant or commercial plant. Sl.No.2. Information Services : For the posts of Assistant Manager (E1) / Deputy Manager(E2): MCA or BE / B.Tech (Computer / CS / IT) or Degree in Engineering with PG Diploma in Computer Application Programming / Computer Management / Systems Management preferably First class from a recognised Univerity / Institute of repute. Should have post qualification experience as stated at II below in any one of the functional areas of: Sl. No. (i) Functional Area LINUX SERVER ADMINISTRATOR (REDHAT /SUSE LINIX) 1. 2. 3. 4. Skill Set Use shell scripting to automate system maintenance task. Configure system to authenticate using Kerberos. Install packages required to run network service. Configure network services such as HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, and NTP Red Hat/ Novell Directory Server, configure systems to authenticate using LDAP. Administration skills such as creating, modifying, and implementing security-enhanced Linux (SELinux) policies. In addition the engineer should be able to deploy / Install Application like Oracle DB / APP Server on Linux Server. Should be able to configure services like Proxy Server, File Server, FTP Server. Should be able to configure Backup devices like tape drives / Library and automate LAN based backups. Should be a certified Linux Professional. Ability to fine-tune oracle Database server 10g & above will be added advantage. Should be able to configure and manage L2 & L3 Network Switches, including creation of VLAN, Inter-VLAN routing, Inter-Switch Link and 802.1Q Encapsulation, QoS-Based Forwarding, Remote Monitoring, PortBased Snooping, Access Control Lists, Load Balancing, CDP, Hot Standby Router Protocol, NIC port teaming in Switches, configuring Gigabit Ether Channel between 2 Switches. Should be able to configure LAN, VAN, Voice ports interfaces, Routing on CISCO 3900/2900/1900 Series Routers and necessary routing protocols, IPv4 and IPv6 routing. Access control list, NAT and PAT, SNMP configuration. Should be Familiar with MPLS configuration like enabling CEF, IGP, Define Assigning LDP, LDP router ID, Configuring MPLS on Interface. Should be Familiar with Firewall configuration and network security and security technologies like IPS, IDS, Gateway Level Antivirus. Should be familiar in network integration of web server, database systems, desktop applications and application server. Should be a certified Network Professional

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Microsoft developer technologies like .NET Framework 4 & above. ASP.NET version 4 features like Core services , Web Forms , ASP.NET routing, enhanced support for Web standards, updated browser support, new features for data controls, and new features for view state management Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Crystal reports/ Microsoft Report and Java Scripting. Managed Extensibility Framework. Dynamic Data, including support for existing Web applications, Object Oriented Programming, new field templates and attributes, and enhanced data filtering. Microsoft Ajax with Ajax Control toolkit. Microsoft Visual Studio technologies like C# or VB. Must be able to create deploy and maintain WEB applications. Implement authentication based on Microsoft AD Services, Integrate Email and SMS server with applications. Must be able to use Microsoft SQL Server 2005/ Oracle 10g or later as backend database during Application development.

10. Must be able to configure, Maintain IIS version 6.0/7.0 and deploy web based applications. (iv) ORACLE DEVELOPER (FORMS AND REPORTS 10g/11g) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Development of D2K - Oracle Forms/Reports 10g or Above. SQL, PL/SQL skills (Oracle Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Packages). Object Libraries and PL/SQL libraries. Application database design like Creating tables, views, synonyms, Indexes in Oracle Database. Trouble shooting and De-bugging the applications. Migration of Oracle Forms& Reports 4.5/6.0/6i to Oracle10g/11g. Deployment under UNIX / Windows platform: OS (Windows and Redhat Linux). Tools like TOAD, PL/SQL developer. Experience in Oracle Application Development (ADF) Framework & Oracle Application Server/Designer/Java/J2EE/OC4j will be an added advantages.

Sl.No.3. Law : For the posts of Assistant Manager (E1) / Deputy Manager(E2): Graduation with Degree in Law(3 years course) or (5 years Integrated Course) from a recognised Univerity / Institute. He should have post qualification experience as stated at II below in dealing with legal matters relating to Contracts, Mining Leases, Mergers & Acquisition, Transfer of Property, Industrial Laws etc, having experience in dealing with cases in Lower courts/High Court / Supreme Court cases. Candidates having experience in dealing with Mining and Mineral Laws will be given preference. The candidate should have good communication and presentation skills. Sl.No.4 Industrial Engineering : For the posts of Assistant General Manager (E5) / Senior Manager (E4) / Manager (E3) / Deputy Manager(E2) / Assistant Manager (E1): A Degree in Industrial Engineering or Degree in Mining/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering with a PG Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Engineering preferably first class from a recognised Univerity / Institute of repute . He should have post-qualification experience in the field of Industrial Engineering covering practical application of techniques of cost reduction, PERT, MBO, O&M, Resources analysis, Norms development, Operations research, work study, Job evaluation, Incentives, etc with knowledge of using computers. Out of the total experience specified below, experience of 7 years for E5/E4 grades and 3 years for E3/E2 grades in integrated steel plant is essential.

Sl.No.5 Raj Bhasha : For the post of Assistant General Manager (E5): MA (Hindi) preferably first class with English as one of the subjects at Degree level and successful completion of Translation course conducted by Central Translation Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs. Should have post qualification experience as stated at II below in Translation of Technical and / or Non-Technical documents from English to Hindi and vice-versa in Newspapers or Public Relations Department of any State / Central Government or Public Sector Undertaking. Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in the Department of Official Language (Raj Bhasha). Sl.No.6: For the post of Junior Officer (DTP): (i) Graduate from any recognized University and (ii) Proficiency in DTP and (iii) Typewriting Higher Grade (English) and Lower Grade (Hindi) and (Telugu). Typewriting speed (Desirable): 60 wpm (English) 40 wpm (Hindi) and (Telugu) on computer. Should have minimum 15 years experience in DTP works. Should be well versed in DTP processes, including making ready systems that are in vogue for direct printing, Conceptualization of creatives and ability to do designing and layout works, including editing. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBCs (Non-Creamy layer) and as per Govt. guidelines for PwDs/Ex. Servicemen. No. of posts: 20 (Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD will be as per Govt. guidelines). The no. of posts is tentative which may vary depending upon requirement. III. GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. Experience and age relaxable and higher start in the time scale may be considered in case of deserving candidates. Candidates may be considered for a lower post in case they are found otherwise suitable depending on their qualification, experience and present position. 2. Apart from Basic Pay, Dear ness Allowance, other Perks and Allowances limited to 47% of Basic Pay will be payable. Other benefits include PRP, HRA (depending on place of posting), CPF, Gratuity, Medical facilities, Group insurance, etc., as per rules. 3. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in candidates for being called for interview.
