Summary
Edward Jackson Jr., whose father committed suicide for reasons unknown, becomes the Chauffeur, as a final testament of his father, of a very powerful political family in the Meridian Circle, the Kane Family. However the closer he gets to the family the more secrets unravel, feelings brew and strange events occurs that make him second guess everything around him, including his father's death. All the while he must go out his norm to protect the families biggest secret of all, there blood. Settings The story takes place in the country of London during an alternate present that's a cross between shakespearean and the near future, in the sense that there is honor, romance and betrayal beneath the surface. The weather is mostly snowy and a bit windy for most of the year with a cool summer.This weather creates a gloomy, straight lace view that seems to perfect, with a rich night life since most people work at this time, with the ten percent of the population in the upper class and operating the day time. The country has an economically divided society in which member of the Meridian Empire govern over all. Then the private societies are next in line followed by the rest of the people.
