it is unable to engage the developing countries in a structural way and significantly influence the Energy sector. Many CDM projects lack credibility regarding their environmental integrity objectives. The main criteria in CDM is to show additionality , that the project would not have been implemented in the absence of CDM, which is contradicted many times.

Suggestions
Recent analysis shows Energy Sector is the major

contributor for this Emissions of CO2. The need of the hour is to control this mainly. To control this post 2012 also, the developing countries who are major contributors can form an sectoral no-lose crediting targets and gain financial support from the developed countries. The same can be implemented inside each and every country identifying the other major sector which are emitting more and form a no lose targets and monitor the reductions by incenting the reduced parties.

Among all the methods suggested, we can implement the six in India. Then the Energy Efficiency sector has good scope, regardless of the

state and region, which can be extended to the building and infrastructure segment also. In India we have been running Cement, steel, sugar, fertilizer, Oil and gas refineries etc... where process based operations are happening more, here we can use the new technologies to retrofit the old ones and improve the efficiency. Waste heat recovery is another sector which is process related and important issue which is not implemented well though it has good scope, only few Industries are utilizing. Transportation is the biggest opportunity what India can develop examples are Metros, CNG buses, laying cable cars in the hill areas.
