Manual Control System

Its the traditional technique of Inventory management where records of inventories are kept in a manual-entry system. Example A sole proprietor who sells only t-shirts of Rs 300 each, just mark in down in a spreadsheet after every time he makes a sale.

Barcode Systems
Barcode systems are used to automate inventory management. Barcodes are relatively inexpensive and have a couple of advantages over traditional manual-entry systems- >Accuracy. >Speed. It is used in various retail stores and shopping malls.

RFID Inventory Control Systems

Radio Frequency Identification: Identify physical objects through a radio interface. this technology becomes economically feasible for all large organizations. In Jan.2005 Wall Mart implemented RFID to improve supply chain management. DTDC uses RFID for inventory, logistic & dispatch control.
