ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM- Controlling an EFI engine system using PC via ECU and controlling hub

ABSTRACT The Engine Management System (EMS) is a system which is used to control the amount of fuel being injected and for adjusting the ignition timing. Optimum functioning of the EMS assures maximum engine power, exhaust emission control and lowest fuel consumption. The EMS is comprised of the following components.

OBJECTIVES

METHODOLOGY Hardware Installation on a Test rack. Activating various Sensors and Actuators. Test Run using a Commercial ECU. Developing Calibration Maps using chrome software. Test run using Calibration maps for rich and lean Air/Fuel Mixture.
