Solar Flare- A brief burst of energy from the suns photosphere.

Sunspot- Is a dark spot on the photosphere of the sun.

Solar Wind- Is a fast moving stream of particles thrown into space by solar flares.

The rotation of the earth on its axis causes day and night. The suns core is the densest layer. The moon is not a planet. The earth is the only planet in our system that is known to have life. The sun affects life on earth from the temperature to how our plants grow it supports the life cycle. The sun also controls the wind and affects the weather.

When solar flares erupt it takes a couple of hours to reach the earth. When it reaches the earth Waves of energy travel through space, our satellites can be affected and it can sometimes causes our internet and phones not to work.

Phytoplankton produces 80% of earths oxygen. At night it is colder in the desert because there is less water vapor in the desert air than at the coast. Dry air causes heat loss.

A boardwalk is built on the beach in Ras Al Khaima, after a few years sand builds up along side of the boardwalk this happens because of erosion. Waves carry sediments and push them up against the boardwalk.
