Definitions of personality and its characteristics Personality is the compound of the attributes, behavioral, emotional and mental traits

that differentiate a person from the other. (1) Attitude: is the theoretical concept the characterize a persons degree of like and dislike for anything. It develops on the ABC mode (affect, behaviour and cognition) where affective reaction is an emotion reaction that states the persons degree of fondness for an object. The behaviour purpose is an oral or action sign that the person perform. The cognitive reaction is the mental reasoning that the person has regarding an entity. (2) Behaviour: is the way the person is acting, moving or controlling himself/herself. (3a) It is the reaction of the person to different spurs, whether internal or external, conscious or subconscious, overt or covert, and voluntary or involuntary. (3b) Attributes: is what the person acquires during his life and work experience. (ex: a person who possesses creative mind, ability to learn and can learn by himself/herself.) (4) Ability: is being able to do something either physical or mental or both. It is obtained through time and experience. (5) Emotional Intelligence: explains the emotional capabilities and skills. It is a self-perceived talent to identify, measure and supervise the emotions of the person himself/herself of others and of groups. (6)
