Statement of the Problem


This study aims to determine the level of motivation and factors influencing the motivation of paramedical and nonparamedical teachers in differing circumstances of teaching, based on Herzbergs Motivator- Hygiene theory in Southwestern University, Cebu City. The findings will serve as bases for a proposed Motivation Strategies Seminar for teachers.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions


1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:
1.1. age; 1.2. gender; 1.3. civil status; 1.4. socio- economic status; 1.5. highest educational attainment; 1.6. length of service; 1.7. income; and 1.8. position/rank?
