Vridha Sadhana Kendram (Pakalveedu)

Seva bharathi PAKALVEEDU is aimed at helping the elderly population of our society. In busy life as that of today, very often the people find it hard to find time for our elderly people at home. It often leads to great deal of isolation of the elderly from the society. Seva bharathi in an effort to bring these grandparents back to their smiling self has innovated the vridha sadhana kendram, where elderly people assemble in the day time, share their memories with people of similar age. Sadhana word literally means means to be closer to god in which ever means its possible. We intend to provide facilities for sadhana by facilitating dhyanam, yoga, pranayama etc at our centre. Providing a spiritual environment along with various leisure and entertainment activities through television, light indoor games, etc. Special care of health and medical needs of our inmates are taken care of, along with nutritious food and space for rest during their stay in the Pakalveedu. Pakalveedu is a novel idea to this part of Palakkad, which needs help and advice from every quarters for providing quality seva to the society. We, the Seva Bharathi family hereby appeal to every kind hearted person to join us in person or in kind and be part of our continuous pursuit for providing genuine service to the society.
