SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY Join us between services on Sunday, June 3 for breakfast at 10 a.m., followed by Bible Study at 10:10 lam. In addition to Sunday School, MS & HS Bible Study, we will be concluding our current study: “No More Borders: Living in the Mission of God" ‘A Study of the Book of Jonah and our calling as God's Children in His Mission IThis study has been exploring our calling as Children of God on His Mission of Mercy. Participants will lexperience the dynamics of the Mission of God through the eyes of Jonah. Through group discussion we {will also explore the areas into which God is calling us today to let his message of grace and mercy be Hheard. Led by Pastor Carl Hanson. [NOTE: Sunday Bible Study, Sunday School and Little Lambs Children’s Church will con- clude with classes on June 3rd. Watch for our Education Fair on August 19th and our Service Fair on August 26th (both between services at 10:00 am). Recipients of these gifts include the Philippines Orphanage in Manila to assist Concordia Children’s Services (the focus of recent and upcoming CAN mission trips); Carol [Halter’s Ministries here in Hong Kong, including a new ministry to the poor who find themselves living] a “cage-dweller” existence; and English language ministry in Shenzhen, currently a work in progress} with more information coming soon. Mark your calendars! 2012/2013 CAN Ci Idren’s Ministry Programs ‘Sunday School - Age-appropriate classes are designed for children Age 3 ~ Grade 5. Lessons include Bible stories, songs, and crafts. Little Lambs Children’s Church — A short 20-min lesson/activity during the sermon portion of the 11am worship service. Designed for children Age 3 — Grade 2 Christmas Cantata — Theatrical/musical production of the Christmas story. Cantata rehearsals begin the 1 weekend of November. CAN Kids Worship Team — A discipleship opportunity for students Grade 1 - Grade 5 at HKIS who have a heart for singing and using their voices to praise God! VBS is just around the corner... August 7-9! VBS is designed for kids age 4 through the 5” grade on the Repulse Bay campus of HKIS. At Sky VBS, kids will connect with friends, lear new songs, engage in creative crafts, and explore God's love as they discover that by trusting God, everything Is possible (Mark 10:27).
