Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to: a. Name and recognize the eight basic colors namely; red, blue, yellow, green, orange, violet, brown & black. b. Form the habit of being obedient, alert & participative.
II.
Subject Matter: a. Topic: The Eight Basic Colors b. Integration: English identifying Values obedience, alertness & participative.
III.
Discussion a. Books: Show a book that focuses on colors with many photos. b. Flash cards: Flash cards contain pictures of items in various colors. For example, if it is a picture of a banana it would be yellow. c. Food: Ask them the color of what they are eating. Some varieties of foods, like apple, banana, egg, ketchup and others. d. Point Out Colors: Show them the colors of their clothes, shoes, and bag.
IV.
Activity Proper Activity 1: Let the student stand in front of the class and lead him/her to identify and name the eight different colors through the help of crayons.
V.
Generalization Name the eight basic colors which are red, blue, yellow, green, orange, violet, brown & black. Show the color and let the children name it.
