Windows Shortcut Keys

First thing is to learn the shortcuts available by using a combination of keys. Most of the functions here work for all programs, some programs have further combinations. CTRL + C CTRL + X CTRL + V CTRL + F4 ALT + F4 CTRL + P CTRL + S CTRL + N CTRL + O CTRL + Z CTRL + Y Copies the highlighted section Cuts the highlighted section Pastes the highlighted section Closes the current file without closing the application Closes the current application Print the actual page with default options Save the actual file Open a new file or window with the current application Open an existing file Undo last action Redo last action

Most of the current keyboards have a Windows key and a Context key Clicking on the Windows key brings up the Start menu Clicking on the Context menu key is like right-clicking an object WIN + E WIN + M WIN + R WIN + D WIN + F WIN + Pause WIN + H Opens the Windows Explorer Minimizes all Windows Opens the run box Shows the desktop Opens the Find Window Opens the System Properties Dialogbox Starts the Windows Help
