Madam, sometime in 2009 the officials of Brgy.Sainz under the leadership of Brgy.Captain Robert Gregorio had constructed with Spur A tailoring owned by Mr. Edmund Carnecer, the production of uniform (for Lupong Tagapayapa, For Tanod) and T-Shirts for Licop-school in the amount of almost FORTY THOUSAND PESOS (P40,000) covering both labor and materials. As a business taxpayer of this city, my wife and I have appealed to the incumbent officials, especially to the Brgy. Captain Edgar Valera to pay the obligation of the barangay. Regrettably, our appeal has been rejected since the claim of the present administration is then said debt was incurred during the incumbency of the former Capt.Gregorio. Be that as it may, there is an obligation in the name of Brgy.Sainz. For this reason, Madam Mayor, we have finally decided to seek your kind assistance that this issue be resolved by whatever means of your office can do to help us. We endorsed that each Brgy is extended financial assistance in the amount of ONE MILLION (P1,000,000.00) PESOS for CY 2012. Since we have no other recourse to go to in exercising our right as taxpayers to collect from our debtors, especially when involving government officials, as our City Mayor of Mati, we are elevating this concern for resolution and in fairness to all concern, we are exhausting all administrative remedies to resolve this before taking recourse to legal action.
