Affectionate Management: e.Motion: Factor-9: Enthusiasm Nothing great is ever achieved without Enthusiasm , said Ralph Waldo Emerson.

. If positive action is triggered by wilful voluntarism, pro-active action is alwa ys accompanied by unrestrained enthusiasm and zeal. The level of enthusiasm is a measure of empathy between the person and his perfo rmance. Enthusiasm does not find favour with measured steps or cautious approach. It i s a hearty, head-on collision with the problems obstructing the accomplishment o f your vision and mission. Enthusiasm is somehow an ignorant bliss. The enthusiastic performer is so engro ssed in whatever he is doing, that he has no time to think about the end result. But, the result will be there at the end. Enthusiasm represents the total application of the entire mind on the job on ha nd. Such integrity of action, such integration of mind and body, normally and w ithout exception achieves the objectives of performance. Enthusiasm is too contagious to be confined to a person or group. It spreads th roughout the organisation and beyond.
