Each final year project group is required to produce a poster on the subject of their project The poster is to be submitted

to Dr Kunwar Faraz by 13th June 2012 The Department of Mechatronics Engineering shall organize a poster competition on 15th June 2012, into which all the final year project posters submitted shall be entered A panel of judges shall select the best poster.

The poster specifications are given below: The poster size shall be 92 cm x 80 cm (Height x Width) The poster should closely incorporate the following elements: Project Title (Font Size: 60) Affiliation including: Name of University, College and Department (Font Size: 45), the affiliation should be in the bottom center of the poster Full names of group members (Font Size: 28), in the bottom left corner Name(s) of Project Supervisor(s) (Font Size: 36), in the bottom right corner. Each poster must have a 2cm white border.

The poster must contain an abstract/introduction, project technical details with necessary graphs/plots/figures/images, results and conclusion/future work The poster must have logo of NUST in the top left corner and logo of EME in the top right corner The poster must not contain content not relevant to the project

Any other decent innovation / graphics / novelty is ENCOURAGED The poster should be attached on a wooden/steel frame The poster must be laminated Best poster certificate would be given to the winner of the competition. As mentioned in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP-MTS/06) Guidelines for Final Year Projects, the final grades awarded to a group are, among other factors, also dependent on the quality of the FYP poster.
