INTRO

Money is the fundamental key for the establishment of education. Where would education be without money? Money is used to establish all the education facilities worldwide. The buildings, the equipment used in schools were all paid for by someone. Without money how would teachers be paid? Nothing in life is truly free. Even though there are public schools and persons do not have to pay school fees, money is still the main necessity. The government has to put money towards establishing those schools and students still have to purchase books and writing equipment, so in all its sense education is not completely free. Without money there can be no education. Many schools in the Turks and Caicos Islands have even closed down because o f the economic turmoil and the unavailability of money. So money definitely plays an inevitable role in life and without it education will not properly take place. In todays society persons have been driven to pursue higher education only for the intention of earning money. So isnt money more important than education? Research has shown that 4in 6 people pursue higher education only with the hope of

getting an increment in the salary that they make. It has little to do with self fulfillment and increase in knowledge. The core reason for going to school or pursuing higher education is to make enough money to cater for ones basic needs in society. Isnt the main reason for obtaining an education to make money? In conclusion money is an essence of life. It has definite value and is the current news. The whole world revolves around money and it has helped us to become a global village. I am sure I have exhausted my stance on the moot that money is more important than education and based on the premises mentioned above I stand rooted.
