In general terms the training aims at enhancing soft management skills application for Heads of sub-treasury This will be achieved through equipping them with some skills that enable them to be effective and efficient leaders of their units.
INTRODUCTION
Highly valued employees in todays workplaces are those who add value to their employers. Without adding value to your employer you are most likely to be redundant! Take some seconds to reflect on the following: 1. For how many years have you served in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs? 2. What value have you added to this employer? 3. How valued in this workplace are you todate? 4. What changes do you need to make? Please share with us!
One of the critical conditions for one to be value adding is to be results oriented
A results oriented person is both effective and efficient (he/she does the right things, at the right time, using the right resources)
Soft management skills are a vehicle that can reach you to the destination of being efficient and effective.
