Simple Present Tense

The simple present tense is used to show an action carried out in the present time. Examples: I walk to school. He walks to school.

The simple present tense is used to show a regular or habitual action. It is usually used with adverbs like often, everyday, sometimes and always. Examples: I Tony sometimes goes to go the to the library library. everyday.
