Dan DeKoter has been working with Dekoter, Thole & Dawson, PLC., formerly known as Corcoran Skiver and Zito law firm, since 1980. Serving on the Village Northwest Unlimited Board and East Oaks Estates Property Owners Association and is a past member of the Sibley Library Board, Sibley Kiwanis, Iowa State Bar Association Legal Forms Committee (chair), Northwest Iowa Humane Society (president), and several church boards.

Qualification
Dan DeKoter is engaged in several areas of legal practice. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and English, from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1977. He attended the Maurice-Orange City High School, where he was a National Merit Finalist and was conferred the William Randolph Hearst Foundation Senate Youth Program scholarship.

Commited Towards Welfare Of Society


Dan Dekoter is committed towards working for the welfare of the society. In order to promote reading, he annually contributes about $3,000. He significantly donates to ATLAS of Osceola country society and village Northwest Unlimited on annual basis. Also wrote for the Iowa Law Review while studying at the University of Iowa Law School. He is an avid reader and loves reading books on history, political analysis and mystry.
