the capacity of cutting, the experiment is done by cutting steel

bars using in construction. The steel bars sizes are 3.5, 5, 7, 9,
10 and 12 mm diameter respectively. The results are found that
this equipments maximum capacity of cutting is to cut steel bars
in 10 mm in diameter with the force of 30.70 kN. For finding the
capacity of spreading, the experiment is done by lifting up
increased loads. The increased loads are 80, 160, 240, 280, 320,
400 and 480 kg respectively. The result is found that this
equipments maximum capacity of spreading is to lift up load of
400 kg. Forces in the connecting rod are 13.21 kN. Consequently,
it can concluded that a compact cutter and spreader equipment,
which has the weight only 65 kg.

Abstract
This research is to develop a cutter and spreader equipment
for rescuing people in car accidents. The objectives of this
research are to combine a cutter with a spreader device into a
unit of equipment and to reduce the size to be suitable for using
in Thailand. The small cutter and spreader is equipment using for
cutting and spreading bended metal in car accidents. For finding
