Cinnamon Sugar Bowknots

Ingredients:
cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 can layered biscuits cup butter (1/2 stick), melted 2 teaspoons honey

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cover cookie sheet with wax paper. 2. Melt butter in a small mixing bowl. Cover with wax paper so it doesnt splatter in the microwave. 3. In another bowl, combine the first two ingredients: sugar and cinnamon. 4. Separate biscuit dough into 5 biscuits; separate each biscuit into 2 layers by cutting in half for a total of 10 biscuits. 5. Press each piece into a 3-inch oval; pinch in center and twist once, making a bowknot. 6. Dip in butter, then in sugar mixture; reserve remaining butter. Place the sugar side up on cookie sheet. 7. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-8 minutes or until golden. Blend honey with remaining butter; brush over warm rolls. Remove from pan while warm.
