Issue 1: H-OUR

Letter from the Writer.

Hello everyone, its Mary here. The first Issue, finally. I am sorry I took so long. The thing is; I have another blog: www.marywantsalittlelamp.blogspot.com and the story I was posting there, My Sepmom and I, was coming to an end. I used to post a chapter each Sunday, and when I finally got it over with, I had to post two chapters and tell my readers about this blog. You know, once someone asked me what I would get out of all this. I thought about it and one dominating word came into my mind: experience. And apart from that, there are many other benefits of this. Well then, what do you think, am I right? I hope you like my Magazine and forgive me for the delay. Also, if you have any suggestions, complaints or anything like that, you can email them to me: www.maya.petlover@gmail.com and/or www.abc.xyz.123.infinity@gmaill.com . And tell your friends about it as well. If you want to send me a story or articles (even if it does not come under any section in this magazine) then find out how to do so on page 11. Im sorry that this Issue was so small (it did not even have an index!). I hope that next weeks Issue will be larger. Thank you people. Marry signing off.

H-OUR
Got a minute? We all should.

I wake up every morning and there is a ton of things that I have to do. I have to do my chores, do my blogging, go for a walk, take a bath, check my email, read a book and so on. But these things do not seem to matter as much as the list of activities that I Cant find enough time have to do. I wake up and I am bursting with ideas about so many things. But I never find the for that long mental time to actually do any of these things. Why is list of things to do? that? Well now that is an interesting question. I will step into a persons life to answer. The person (not me) is X. No, you have not stepped into school again. It is just a letter. Oh, alright, fine! Lets call this anonymous person A.

Well, time does not actually fly, you know. Remember, it is how you spend time.

So, A gets up and lazily goes to the bathroom. After As teeth have been brushed, the laptop is open, and A thinks, Ill just check my email. It will take a minute. It takes a lot of time. There may be a connecting problem, or that A has a lot of emails or that A is an internet addict. As mother calls out, A! Wash the dishes. A tries to make mom fall for some trick or the other, but mother is wiser. A wasted twenty minutes and has to wash the dishes in the end. A knew that there was no escape, but still. A does that a lot. A tries to run away from things that will not leave A alone, but A fails all the time.

Page 3 www.alive-magazine.blogspot.com

Issue 1: H-OUR The tutor is here. A grumbles that no kid has to study in the summers. Then A sits down with the tutor, but is inattentive and the tutor gives A a lot of work, and a lot of homework, which he will collect tomorrow. Oh no! A thinks that the homework can be done later, but As dad is home soon. There is no messing around with dad. But A is moaning and taking a lot of time to do the homework, even though if A would just concentrate, all would be done quickly, just like the dishes. A does not finish the homework. A takes a long bath, singing original songs. Now A has to go to the park. A goes, and spends a lot of time with friends from around the block. A had to read a book. A had to make a sketch. A had to complete the homework. A had to do a lot of other activities other then the main ones. But. So you see, time is ours (even the spelling says it), and we decide what to do with it. Either we use it or waste it. It is our choice. Choose wisely. Yes, I sound like a grandma. You got a problem? Well, you certainly do not have a minute to spare, so take my advice and youll get time. Believe me. Mary when the clock is her enemy.

It is the core or the world that is bad. This is one story. There are many others.

Narrated by Marys Sister.

Pondered: Questions that trigger thoughts

Are You Worth Being Called Human?

What is a human? The human race consists of creatures that are the most intelligent of all, and superior to animals. Humans are supposed to be humane. And what is humane? Humane is any characteristic that belongs to a member of the human race. So, are you a member of this race?

Are we all really sane?

Remarkable sanity is the specialty of this race. Are we all really sane? There are some crimes that are so evil, so bad and so wrong in every way that anyone who hears of these crimes is baffled and wonders how, simply how anyone could ever do that. How can anyone do all those things? An article is empty without facts, but I will not add incidents of really, really surprising crimes because some readers will find it too disturbing to take in. I will never advise anyone to know too much with the exception of knowing to avoid it. It is madness, how the world does some things that are just so. And it is happening now, at this very moment. Think about it. Is every human worth that name? Are you worth that name? Are your actions humane?

Ordinary with a touch of extra: Short Stories

In my corner of the spherical world

What happens around here.
Jane was disgusted with kids who said that they were not talking to their parents because they were not letting them go to the newly opened club alone. She hoped that she would never become like that. So many kids get kidnapped, so many are homeless, so many have nothing to eat. So many are ill- and this is no common cold. There are things in this world that you may never know about. But that does not mean that they do not exist. Give charity, and sleep peacefully, knowing that you did something to help. That was what Jane did. She stopped wasting her pocket money and gave it all to the poor at the end of the year. And she hoped to do the same with her money forever.

She hoped that she would never become like that.

How much do you give for charity?
