We, the undersigned, registered and duly qualified voters residing within the territory described below (hereinafter referred to as the 24th Ward), within the City of Chicago in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, and pursuant to Section 28-1 et. seq. of the Election Code, do hereby petition that the following advisory question of public policy be placed on the ballot for submission to the voters of all precincts, 1 through 56 inclusive, within the 24th Ward for their approval or disapproval, by referendum at the General Election to be held on November 6, 2012: The boundaries for the 24th Ward are as follows: Beginning at the intersection of Harrison Street and Laramie Avenue; then going east on Harrison Street to Lavergne Avenue; then going north on Lavergne Avenue to Jackson; then going east on Jackson to Kostner Avenue; then going south on Kostner Avenue to Gladys Avenue; then going east on Gladys Avenue to Hamlin ; then going south on Hamlin to Congress Parkway; then going east on Congress Parkway to Kedzie Avenue; then going south on Kedzie Avenue to Harrison Street; then going east on Harrison Street to Albany Avenue; then going south on Albany Avenue to Roosevelt Road; then going east on Roosevelt Road to California Avenue; then going south on California Avenue to Ogden Avenue; then going southwest on Ogden Avenue to Sacramento Drive; then going southeast on Sacramento Drive to Marshall Boulevard; then going south on Marshall Boulevard to Cermak Road; then going west on Cermak Road to Whipple Street; then going south on Whipple Street to 24th Street then going west on 24th Street to Troy Street; then going south on Troy Street to 25th Street; then going west on 25th Street to Kedzie Avenue; then going north on Kedzie Avenue to 24th Street; then going west on 24th Street to Sawyer Avenue; then going north on Sawyer Avenue to Cermak Road; then going west on Cermak Road to City Limits/ Belt Rail Road; then going north along City Limits/Belt Rail Road to Roosevelt Road; then going west on Roosevelt Road to Laramie Avenue; then going north on Laramie Avenue to the intersection of Harrison Street and Laramie Avenue.
