REINFORCED CONCRETE JACKING PIPE

Dinamakan Pipa Jacking karena cara


pemasangan atau installasi pipa dilakukan tanpa
mengadakan penggalian (ekskavasi) tanah untuk
membuat galian/parit. Pemasangan dilakukan dengan
cara mengebor tanah dan kemudian mendorong pipa
tersebut dari titik awal - starting pit ke titik akhir arriving pit.

Its called Jacking pipe because the installation


is conducted without excavated the ground/land to make
entrenchment or ditch. Installation conducted by drilling
the ground and then jacking the pipe from the starting
pit to the arriving pit.

Dengan metode pemasangan pipa jacking ini


dimungkinkan melakukan pemasangan pipa dibawah
jalan dengan lalu lintas yang padat tanpa menggangu
kelancaran lalu lintas kendaraan. Selain dapat
menghindarkan gangguan kenyamanan lingkungan
akibat pekerjaan galian untuk installasi pipa, metode
jacking ini akan lebih menguntungkan dari segi ekonomi
diantaranya; kerugian yang dapat dihitung langsung
akibat tidak beroperasinya jalan tol atau kereta, biaya
pembuatan struktur p enguat bil amana tidak
menggunakan Pipa Jacking.
