{I wrote this for a friend who wanted a welcome speech.

He was a sophomore and the event was a fresher's party in college WRITTEN sometime in 2003 Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to raise a toast to all the new faces in here. New faces that we dont know till now but would wish to know. The same new faces that once belonged to us an year ago. The same new faces that, over ashort period of time, will no more be, 'NEW' faces. But faces they are now to us, and yes new faces. Well, I speak on behalf of all the second year students here. Just a few lines of how we all feel at this juncture. Here I go. Newness or novelty has been intriguing and fascinating to man since the Neanderthal times. Novelty for us is excitement and exuberance, surprise and science, cheerfulness and joy, hope and happiness, boldness and buoyancy, positive ness and passion. But men as we all are, novelty to us also means risk, unfamiliarity, uncertainty, fear, doubt and disturbance. In the same token, the old and the established stands for the familiar and comfortable, knowledgeable and therefore able, mature and therefore trustworthy,rugged and therefore reliable. But all this goes with accusations of stagnation and staleness,out -of-date and outmoded ness and the slow and the stumped'. What I wish to express using all the adjectivesthat I used is that these new faces in here, our juniors for the coming year , represent to us the same hope and challenge as new players in a cricket team or new twists in a good story. And we, as seniors,should ideally be the matured bunch, a bunch of guys and gals they could trust and depend upon. Together, we can make a terrific team. You, a brand new Ferrari and we, the sparking black, Ford Model T. So, I, on behalf of all the old faces here, welcome the new faces with open hands, open minds and above all, OPEN HEARTS.

Starting mein [2] Seniors ke saath bhi inka experience great hota hai Unke muh par Jo unhe sir bolta hai wahi baad mein unki pheed par chura khopta hai Par yeh seniors bhi bahut shataan hai. -[2] Ragging ke Doraan kabhi Indian Idol toh kabhi Boogie wOggie ki practice karwa dalte hain Par yehi shataan seniors tab devta ban jate hai Jab Kisi ladki KO purpose karne ka task thma dalte hain

Lekin real game toh tab shuru hoti hai jab inse (freshers) koi ladki AA milti hai Phele toh Hi Hello se shuruwat hoti hai, Phir dheere dheere notes exchange hone lagte hai[2] Aur baad mein toh inhe apne dost bhi paray lagne lagte hain

Par is love story ka climax toh tab hota hai jab ladka ladki KO purpose Karta hai Bus phir kya hona hota hai Agar kimat ka connection ho toh life settle hojati hai [2] Aur agar luck saath na de toh phir inki ushi semester mein suppli (back) se mulakaat ho jati hain.

Welcome freshers To this most recognized department We have a place reserved for you Also in our heart apartment Your presence brightens up the day Your intellect has many things to say Your energy burns up all the hay And then we have a bill to pay Oh come on just kidding! That was only a joke to say We know That your goals have a movement like a ray You all succeed in your life Thats the only thing we pray We remember The day you first stepped In the Department of Business Administration Big question mark on every guys face But with a distinct satisfaction We never expected that youll create Such extensive reverberation That the whole department will dance On the 16th October for recreation Your batch comprises of Such beautiful kudiyaan Some are simple, a few are sober And most are burning fuljhariyaan

Just their presence creates the milieu For an exceptional euphoria And the department also boasts of These rarest Goriyaan We are sure youll rise To the paramount position None of you will settle for hausfrau And continue the blind tradition Take the world in your stride With the utmost precision Break all barriers, remove all fences As well as the superstitions Now considering something About the boys part You are all quite contrary To your fairer counterpart Beware! The girls are going to drive you crazy Your lackluster attitude Makes you all lazy Anyhow, if are on the hit list Then you all turn to be evangelist Our dear brethren can outflank any philanderer Yet you are called philanthropist So now guys Its time to get into the grove As we have some lip-smacking supper And a foxtrot to prove So go and get your part or pie Otherwise youll lag behind mere bhai The floor is ready for your jhatkaa And we cant help if somebody atkaa Well have some toothsome vegetarian That youll remember till septuagenarian But mind it out the samose me mircha That has proved us a lot of kharcha We all had some exciting times together The memories of which are imprinted forever We hope that you didnt mind All through the introduction As we just wanted to prove Our deep love and affection
