Big R: Killing for the Crown Murder Mystery, August 30 ACS Training Center, Schofield Barracks
Dress to impress to celebrate another month of deployment complete by investigating a murder! Join your Blue Star Card friends on Thursday, August 30, from 6:30 8:30 pm, in the ACS training center, Schofield Barracks (next to SGT Smith Theatre) for a fun evening playing Killing for the Crown and interactive murder mystery game centered around a murder at the Miss America pre-pageant party. This is an adult only event, limited childcare is available. Spaces are limited and registration is required. To registered call 655-0002 or email Amanda.P.Montgomery.naf@mail.mil by August 23.

Parents Night Out

Parents Night Out will be held August 4 (AMR CDC and AMR Youth Center), August 18 (Bowan CDC and Schofield School Age Center). For more information on Parents Night Out or to make a reservation, call the Schofield Barracks CYS Services Registration Office at 655-5314 or the AMR Registration Office at 833-5393. Blue Star Card holders can use their 16 free hours for the month toward Parents Night Out! Star Recipe of the Month:

Health and Fitness Center Kids on Site Information:

The Kids on Site care for the Health and Fitness center will remain free for valid Blue Star Card holders, Mon.-Fri., 8-11 a.m., at Kaala Community Activities Center, Bldg. 556. Registration is required. For more information please call 655-8628. This does not count against your 16 free hours of care!

INGREDIENTS
Pretzel Rods Candy Melts (or white chocolate bark/ chocolate chips with a little of your favorite food coloring added) Paper Labels (make them yourself or download at https://docs.google.com/ le/d/ 0BwsIJiJPw4WMDUwOTg4ODYtOGI4Mi00OTY zLTllNDAtNTdlYWRmYjIzNGFm/edit. Print on colored paper of your choice

DIRECTIONS
1. Break or cut pretzel rods in half. 2. Melt candy melts or chocolate chips in microwave on medium heat for 1 minute. Stir and continue cooking at 15 second intervals until melted. Stir well. Add a few drops food coloring if desired. 3. Dip ends of pretzels in melted candy.
